Question: Will you be recruiting for 2023?
Answer: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Park/Night Warden (live-in) to join the team at Trenance Holiday Park. Please use the following link for more information Holiday Park Warden

We are also looking for two full-time Housekeepers (live-in, optional) Please use the following link for more information Housekeeper Attendants

Question: Do you accept long stay reservations?
Answer: Unless by special arrangement the longest permitted stay is 2 weeks with no return within 4 weeks. If we notice a long stay forming on the park (multiple/separate reservations) we may ask you to leave the park without a refund.

Question: Do you accept groups?
Answer: Trenance Holiday Park is a family park and caters for families, couples and singles only, we do not accept all male, all female, or uneven numbered large groups (consisting of 4 guests or more) unless by prior arrangement. Accordingly, we check not only the availability of requested accommodation but also party make-up before confirmation of any booking is made. If we find a group forming on the park (separate reservations) we may ask you to leave the park without a refund.

Question: Do you allow pets?
Answer: In the interest of all guests, pets are not permitted in our accommodation or on our pitches.

Question: Are we allowed to have barbecues on the park?
Answer: We don’t mind people having BBQs outside their Caravans / Chalets/ Tents at all. For fire safety regulations they should be a sensible distance from your accommodation, and ideally disposable barbecues should be placed on a slab or block to protect the grass. Barbecues are not allowed on Chalet decking. Fire-pits are not permitted onsite.

Question: How close are you to the amenities of the town centre?
Answer: We are the closest Park to the town centre and beaches at just under 1 mile; or approximately 15 mins. walk.

Question: How close are you to the main transport links?
Answer: We are less than a mile from the Rail Station and the Bus Station. The rapidly expanding Newquay Airport is about a 15 min. drive by bus or taxi.

Question: Is Parking available prior to check-in
Answer: Please note, onsite parking is not available prior to Check-in.

Question: At what times can I check in and out?
Answer: Keys for Caravans and Chalets are available from 3.30pm on arrival day; this is to ensure that we have enough time to make the accommodation clean and comfortable for you. Check-out time is 10.30am on departure day. If you wish to leave before Reception opens, a drop off box for your key is available.

Question: At what times can I check in and out?
Answer: Camping / Touring pitches / Camping pods may be occupied from 2pm and must be vacated by 12 noon on departure day. Please bear these times in mind when planning your journey! If you wish to leave before Reception opens, a drop off box for your key is available. Please note parking is not available on the park prior to Check-in

Facilities

Question: Can I charge my vehicle on the park.
Answer: Please note we do not currently have a facility to charge hybrid cars. You are not permitted to charge your car using the holiday home or pitch electricity supply. Our onsite power supply is not able to support the continuous load required for EV charging, (even when using the supplied emergency ‘granny charger’). This will overload our systems leading to a serious fire risk, as well as power outages and damage to your vehicle, none of which are covered by our Park Insurance.

Question: Is Wi-Fi available on the park.
Answer: We have a Wi-Fi Lounge for you to connect free in comfort.

Question: Do you have a clubhouse or any entertainment on-site?
Answer: Being so close to the town centre, and also having 2 family pubs about 5 minutes’ walk away, we’ve found it makes sense not to have a bar or clubhouse on site. This keeps it nice and quiet for those who want a good night’s sleep! For those keen on the nightlife, Newquay has some of the best Clubs in the Southwest. Likewise, there are so many places to eat serving many nationalities of food within easy walking distance.

Question: Do you have a swimming pool?
Answer: We don’t, but we are directly next-door to Newquay’s Leisure Centre which includes Waterworld which has 2 indoor swimming pools, a 25m pool and a fun pool with slides etc. Independently run and charged as used.

Question: Do you provide bedlinen?
Answer:  The Caravans and Chalets have duvets and pillows provided. Guests are requested to bring their own bedlinen, table-linen and towels.

Payments

Question: Am I able to book “odd” days?
Answer: We are offer various length short breaks throughout the season (Chalet/Caravans) 3-night breaks are Friday to Monday and 4-night breaks Monday to Friday (At the time of booking multiple short breaks can be booked at the same time back-to-back). Combined short breaks booked back-to-back will automatically be entitled to a 10% discount at the time of booking. Saturday to Saturday breaks is also available (7- & 14-night breaks). Please ring Reception if you have any queries.

Question: Can I pay over the phone?
Answer: The original booking and deposit payment must be carried out either by post (fill out a booking form and send it with either a cheque or card details) or online. We can however accept balance payments over the phone with a credit /debit card.

Question: When do I have to pay my balance?

Automated email reminders are sent for your convenience. You can pay on-line, just click “log in “at the top right of the Home page. Over-due balance payments will result in your Holiday reservation being cancelled. FOR YOUR SECURITY WE DO NOT HOLD BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS, BALANCE PAYMENTS WILL NOT TAKEN AUTOMATICALLY.

Question: How much deposit do I have to pay?
Answer: £100 per Caravan / Chalet per week, or £50 per camping pitch. The deposit is deducted from your final balance.

Question: On cancellation do you issue a refund?
Answer: We recommend that visitors take out a cancellation insurance policy independently from the park, only monies covered by insurance can be refunded. Please refer to our Booking Terms & Conditions 2024
